Riding the tides of Kelaniya River at Kithulgala, Sri Lanka, is an unforgettable travel adventure for team travelers.

Riding the white tides of Kelaniya River for 5 KMs covering 5 major rapids and 4 minor rapids while trying to be on board can be quite a challenge for an amateur rafter like me! 😉

While team coordination is the most important thing to stay on board of the raft you definitely have to obey the instructions given by your rafting instructor, as they are the professionals in taming the wild tides which can be relatively dangerous at times.

After a strenuous rafting experience you can enjoy the warm sun while floating in the Kelaniya river where the depth is around 60 meters. 🙂

Rafting not only builds up your confidence it also strengthens the bond among the team members as you have to trust them with your lives when you are facing a major rapid, which can capsize your raft if you did not coordinate well.
